Reference Questions

Practitioner FAQ

The questions clinicians, researchers, and procurement teams most often ask before engaging the reference library or evaluating a compound.

Documentation & Verification

Every lot is tested by an independent third-party laboratory before release. Identity (mass spectrometry), purity (HPLC), and endotoxin (LAL) results appear on the Certificate of Analysis for that specific lot. You can request the COA for any lot directly — we do not gate it behind purchase.

Yes. Specify the compound of interest in the contact form and we will send the most recent released lot's COA from our reference set within one business day.

Identity, purity, and endotoxin are confirmed by an independent laboratory unaffiliated with synthesis. Internal QC is performed in addition, but is never the sole basis for release.

Yes. A retained sample from every lot is held in controlled storage so any post-release question can be investigated against the original material.

Sourcing & Manufacturing

Manufacturing is performed in cGMP-aligned facilities with documented chain-of-custody from raw materials through synthesis, lyophilization, fill, and inspection. Facility overview is available on the Facility page.

Each lot has a documented sourcing record covering raw material identity, supplier qualification, synthesis batch, fill batch, and QA release. The chain is available on request as part of the lot documentation package.

No. Compounds are synthesized to our specifications under documented agreements. We do not repackage finished material from unverified upstream sources.

Shipping, Storage & Handling

Lyophilized peptides ship at ambient temperature with insulated packaging when the destination weather requires it. Compounds requiring strict cold-chain are shipped on gel packs or dry ice with temperature logging per request. Storage and reconstitution guidance is documented on each compound entry.

Most lyophilized peptides are stable for 24 months at -20°C in their sealed vial. Once reconstituted, stability drops to days or weeks depending on the compound and storage conditions. The Storage & Handling page covers this per class.

Visual cake inspection is part of every release test. Any anomalies — partial collapse, discoloration, moisture ingress — are caught and the lot is quarantined. If material arrives visibly compromised, contact us and we will replace and investigate.

Access, Accounts & Procurement

Distribution is limited to verified clinicians, researchers, and licensed institutions. Verification may include license number, NPI, institutional affiliation, or equivalent credentials.

Account minimums are tiered based on intended use and order frequency. For evaluation orders, single-unit purchases are accepted. Volume terms for ongoing clinical or research accounts are discussed directly with the specialist team.

Yes. Net terms and consolidated invoicing are available for qualified institutional accounts after verification. Contact us with your institution name and procurement contact.

Yes — this site is intentionally open. The reference library, methodology, citations, and testing documentation are accessible without an account. Only ordering and lot-specific documentation require verification.

Compliance & Use

No. All materials are intended exclusively for laboratory research and educational reference. They are not approved as drugs, supplements, or any product for human or veterinary administration. See the Compliance Statement for the full position.

Some compounds are restricted in certain jurisdictions. Distribution is subject to applicable federal, state, and local law in the destination region. The specialist team can confirm availability for your location during the verification step.
